Turning out a case is harder than I thought and I thought that it was so easy before. There are too much points to be considered. Finally, I accomplished by modifying a lot of times.



1. Prototype
- Mark of knives due to the CNC, NC processing
- Rough finishing
- Problems about angled part of Rehaut
- Wrong measurements about rug’s width, rug to rug and etc.
There were many problems.


2. Beta
- Insignificant mark of knives due to the CNC, NC processing
- Better finishing
- Didn’t figure out the hairline problems while polishing
- It was a little bit better to angled part of Rehaut. But it still needs to approve.
- Wrong measurements about rug’s width, rug to rug and etc.
It still has some problems to deal with.


3. V1
- Solve the insignificant mark of knives due to the CNC, NC processing
- Solve the problems about better finishing and hairline problems while polishing
- Make success in angled part of Rehaut
- Do correct the wrong measurement about rug’s width and rug to rug
- Corrected parts that are difficult to see
Looking for points to upgrade.

4. Franken 114270
- Currently, I am working on dial, hands, brass, and crown in order.

So you modified a pre bought case or machined this from scratch from a solid piece of SS?

I planned gen spec case and used stainless steel to make it.
