I would definitely recommend the helenarou adapter (https://www.helenarou.com/eta-adapter-for-genuine-or-clone-rolex-5512-5515512551355141680.html) over the yukli movement ring. It's much cheaper than the yuki one and it works for gen-spec 15xx case.

Alternatively, if you have a dremel or file, you could create two deeper notches on a raffles 34mm tudor movement ring and use it for a gen-spec 15xx case (http://rafflesdials.com/one-pc-28-0...ng-eta-2824-inside-the-34mm-tudor-watch-case/).

Thank you for the good information.

Try Helenarou

Would the Helenarou adapter work for a gen spec 1675 or a 1655 Vietnam case?
(I read that the Yuki one works but Yuki is down)

People have used it for the Milk 1675 cases so yes. The 1675 ended it's run using a 1575 movement, the same one used by the 1655.

I have now got both the Helenarou and Reffles version (type 2). I can confirm that the Helenarou adapter fits exactly as it should in a gen spec 1675 and a 1655 case while the Reffles (type 2) is slightly loose.

Helenarou adapter has a outer diameter meter of 28.2mm
Raffles adapter ha an outer diameter of 28mm.

Can someone confirm the outer diameter meter of the Yuki adapter please?

Tried this, but I need to say that its kind of hard..

Found this thread and got convinced about buying the helenarou movement ring. The website works but I can't seem to 'complete' the order. Paypall says that something is wrong. Refreshed a couple times and checked Paypal's maintenance page but all servers are up and running.

Anyone having the same problem?

pompompurin Quick question. My order came through! So that is a good thing .. but ... the cases that they put on the description are submariners... And I have a rolex Date 1500. are they interchangeable or did I just order the wrong part :p

I have exactly the same question. Willl Helenarou's adapter fit the 1500 case? More specifically, will it fit in combination with a 2836-2 movement? Or will it only fit in combination with the 2824-2?

It will fit the 1500 case! I almost finished my build,
Movement ring hold the movement wel! The only thing I don't know is it will fit the ETA 2836 because I used the 2824. I think there is a trip on this forum with the dimensions of the different movements. Maybe it is helpful to compare Different movement and the of the dimensions are the same

P.s. May i ask why you choose to use the 2836? And how are you going to solve the day wheel, or are you just going to leave it there?

The reason im asking is that i have another 1500 laying around and im Still not sure if i am going to use the 2824 again... If the 2836 is easier i Will probably try with that one.

I have a spare 2836 and want to give it a try before I buy a 2824. I don't think it will be easier though, and I'm hoping the stem will line up properly. I'm actually planning to build an Explorer out of it, so I don't need the day/date. If you do a real 1500 build, I recommend using Raffles tall post hands with a 2824 movement so that the hands have enough height to clear the tall dial indices.

Yeahh ... ive decided to do the 2824 again (actually the SW200.1) because i stumbled on one by accident so will be using it for the next 1500 project (i made a topic about it). I should have used the longer post hands... i used the Tudor hands on my previous build but i just discovered that they are actually too short. Noticed it when looking at gen pics, but i made the mistake of ordering them once again ... so will swap them out one day for longer hands.. but im getting really annoyed of waiting for parts and those horrible shipping times at the moment :p
