Ultimate RARE 116519 Modded Daytona - Never Built Before (Only Rep/Aftermarket Parts)

Excellent post and wear it in good health! That's exactly the type of racing dial I have been waiting for (not sure if Noob will ever get to release any)! Did the dial need any modding or were the holes a good fit? I was worried the centre hole would be larger then the arf dials as it's 7750.

Yeah, i was worried too! but in the end it turned out perfectly i think!

I had to slim the diameter just a bit, cut the dial feet, and then it mounted perfectly

I read a lot of times that 7750 dials cannot be installed on the 4130 because the central hole was too big and this is very noticeable.. Well, you have just show us that we can! Thanks for sharing, nice build anyway

Yes they are all gen dials, gen bezels and gen hands. Except the black racing dial has aftermarket hands.

Thx mate, Solid gold bezels are always more elegant imo comparing to ceramic ones. They are even nicer when they are brand new

May i ask which dial is most expensive?

When I got them, the white gold panda chromalight for 116519 was the most expensive one. And with the current market last time I asked (2 months back from now), blue racing dial for yellow gold 116518 is of the highest price now.

Cases are all rep. Yellow gold is more preferred to me actually. With a good plating/wrapping the colour difference is really minimal even none. With White gold, it is always a slight difference between the bezel and case as white gold has a slight warm sheen.

Still a newbien, and gold wrapping is a topic i rarely saw discussed.
I almost abandoned my dream of a gold Daytona (with rubber band) but then I see your buties and the fire re-ignite!!!

Such nice examples of what can be done here, I start to like these racing dials more and more (and definitely like the ceramic models less and less!).
I need to try one to see how I bond with it, and if I do well, I think I know what to build after my 116520...
