Hi. I need some help or advise of 2824-2 date wheel make centering.

I have 16233 case. so install 2824-2. But problem is date wheel position doesn't on the center.
So I think buy overlay for 2836-2 and gluing off the 2824-2 date wheel. (Because, I can't find overlay for 2824-2 looks like 3135 movement date wheel)
This plan is stupid or can be possible?
Please give to me good advise. Thank you for guys!

There are two date window positions - DG/ETA and Rolex. They differ by 1mm.

Rep dials can come with the date window in either position.

If your dial has a Rolex position date window, a 2824 will need an overlay glued on its datewheel to move the dates 1mm left. You can use any overlay that moves the numbers 1mm or even a gen 3135 datewheel as an overlay.

Look on Ebay for DWOs. Also check popular vendors like Raffles dials. Make sure you buy one that moves the numbers to the Rolex position.

Both movement versions have Rolex date window positions. The 3135 one will not take a DWO, there is no room. You have to buy a gen or aftermarket gen-spec DW. The 2824 version will already have a DWO and will take any replacement DWO that also moves the numbers 1mm left (as stated in my previous post). You can use other rep DWOs. I have a Noob DWO on my ARF 2824 SD43, for example.

Thanks!!! I have been searching for this information. I am working on my old beater 16610LN that finally gave up the ghost after about 10 years. I was unsure whether to get a DG2813 with a modified date position, or a regular one. It looks like the modified position is 1mm to toward the center and the standard date position is positioned more to the outside. This illustration was very helpful!
