My advice - pay a little more and get the new VRF Pepsi. Solid movement and insert color is pretty good (Rolex Mk1 color).

Are you looking for the current Pepsi model (126710) or discontinued (16710)?

The “second one” is mix-and-mash of both models... The bezel Insert has the fonts of the current model but looks like it’s made of aluminium which the discontinued model has...

You may want to budget a bit more to get a better rep

I wouldn’t buy (but that’s just me). Not a lot of good Pepsi reps out there. Noob has the best insert (126710) and VRF the best movement (3185).

Hmm. Thanks for the input. Do you happen to know the 3186 that is mentioned from Bp is it the time bomb or mod 2836 movement that is reliable?

I like the second one but idk if its the 2824 based time bomb movement or the 2836 based reliable.
Im looking for a disc model. Maybe 1675 if its well made.

The first one is a DG3804 CHS. Not recommended. The movements are trouble, I rejected two I bought and switched to 2836 ICHS.

BP released DG3804 CHS GMTs

The second one is a 2836 ICHS but is a very early release aluminum insert (read the specs, it says metallic!). Given how bad many ceramic 6 digit Pepsi's are whether it's the movement or the insert, I actually can't blame someone for being willing to wear an aluminum insert. The colors are great but the markers are white so just know what you are buying into. You can't wear it near a gen but you can say that about pretty much any rep Pepsi so choose your poison.

Even the $450 ish GMF V3 or new VRF Pepsi ceramic inserts aren't spectacular. I have a Noob timebomb but it's not for everyone. I can fix the movement and have about 4 spares so I dont really feel the need to mod it with a VR3185 atm. Though that would make more sense for most people. You're looking at about $1K though at least for parts and labor and that's no gen anything.

Either way I’m curious to see actual photos of the Pepsi bezels since most rep Pepsi’s use anodized aluminum, or Combination of blue ceramic and anodized red. I’ve heard Rolex has the process of creating the red/blue ceramic down and it’s top secret

I guess i can live with the metallic insert. Also theres a swiss 2836 modded 1675 on TT website. Idk how the quality of that would be and would it be worth

Of any option, the early version with the goofy metal bezel is the last one you want in my opinion. It’s screams fake the second you spot it. Not even a passing resemblance to the real thing.
