seems like VRF (just as some other factories did in the past) is misleading the buyers with announcements made with gen photos
Anyway, they are about to release this model

That looks very good actually. The hands on the SS model are RG? It's hard to tell from the angle.

I've always liked the skeletonized movements. The only thing holding me back on this one is it's unbalanced. Too much open space on the left side and none at all on the right.

Yeah the hands on the ss are rg. The gen is the same way. Im with you on the point of balance though. The daytona from them has much more going on with the left side of the dial and looks great. At least this doesnt need a gen dw

It does look promising!
As kj2020 says the skeletonized movement is unbalanced, but still looks good and sets it apart from the usual subs. The best one is the Jhon McEnore lefty project in my opinion

My guess is that it's colab between someone we know and vrf. It's limited edition aswell not a mass production one.

Been following this on IG, I'd like to see the Daytona version.

Both the Montoya and the Barrichello Daytonas have been repped. DHGate has them with quartz or 7750 movements. They are oversized at 42mm, but still would be a fun occassional beater.

Member semperfi has both, maybe he would post a couple wristies.
