I tried a couple of spare crystals I had in my parts drawer but then got chance of a gen 25-295C2 with Lec and the difference is night and day. The edge profile, clarity and cyclops are miles ahead of any rep.

Rather than gen, are there any aftermarket alternatives to improve date wheel and crystal ? Is the sh so bad compared to vr?

Yeah, but very disappointing. I'd reckon there's higher demand for 5-digit subs, as it's more realistic to someone be wearing that vs the latest release, which many have been on waiting lists for years!

i ordered the 16610 being discussed in this thread, but after some confused back and forth with the TD on them being out of stock, they suddenly sent me QCs for a (different?) watch
right off the bat, the watch suddenly has engraved rehaut again (its not supposed to) and the long-necked 20 on the bezel has been corrected (its supposed to be wrong)
watch still has the ARF 904L sticker and fat datewheel though, so maybe an update? any opinions

The insert is an improvement, the engraved rehaut is not. The crown looks smaller - you can see more gap to the dinky little CGs. Still fat DW. Overall I wouldn't call it an improvement. With some modding it might be OK. I won't be buying one though.

Hi. Who is your TD. You sure sticker says ARF 904L? They do not make rehaut engraved 16610 in 904

This looks like that other one we saw for sale before you got yours. Interested in knowing who makes it, if not ARF. It doesn't look anything like a BP, the only other mainstream factory still making them.

What a difference a cousins uk click spring makes. Back play gone, nice solid feel
bought a date wheel also but scared to fit it myself for fear of never being able to put back together. Will live with the thick one for now
