I am hoping that the bracelet and clasp are going to be a killer! (well gen 5 digits bracelet and clasp suck also)
It looking like the dial and hands are updated. Big pro!
Still need to install a gen datewheel and crystal and its good to go.

Initial pics of the watch before take down was that the end links looked a little too long in the lugs but otherwise looked promising. I just hope they have not used the old Jf bracelet with its crap spring bar connection to the end link!

diamant our friend cadows is correct on this. Looking at your join date, you may have arrived at this hobby after the huge confusion over what an "A3135" was--for some it was a decorated ETA or 23j movement, but other sites used that to describe the SA3135 when it was new. The bottom line is that you should ignore what TDs call any movement, and check with the experts who tear the movements apart and figure out what they really are and where they are from.

Some noobs are coming with VR3135, I’ve seen the blue spring. But then some come with SA3135 so I think it’s hit and miss.

I contacted PureTime and Jennifer said that watch was taken down from the website because it had issues which needed to be fixed. I asked what the issue were and when it will be available and Jennifer said it will be on the site in about a week but was unsure what the issues were.

Ah yes. The early rehaut versions did have an issue with a weak end link connection (bracelet would separate from the end link). But I believe that was fixed on later batches as we didn’t hear of them later on....especially with the later release of the non-rehaut version.

I’ve had a bunch of those JF bracelets that fail at the end link and even an ARF 116610 bracelet did the same thing. I haven’t been able to find replacement spring bars the right size to fix them properly.

Correct. They should not be spring bars really. I fixed mine with proper bracelet pins from cousins.
