That's a shame that there are not many good 5-digit Rolexes available. I like my BP 16600 Sea Dweller and hope watches with ETA clone come out.

5 digit with lug holes would be nice, maybe even a 1675?? No clue why they dont make reps of these, our only options right now are a cheap $200 one with flaws that requires major mods to look decent or a $1000+ viet custom build

You could always build a ST3135 16610 with a VR3135 movement (or a 2824-2 with a spacer), but by the time you gathered all of the parts, you'd probably be in the $600-750 range, Of course that's what I'll have in my 16610 by the time I'm done anyway.

Let shope a factory is jumping is the gap like JF firstly did.
Think there is still enough interest for the 5 digit subs.

There’s interest here. But I think the reality, just like in gen, is most people want the ceramic one and the factories will act accordingly.
It’s a shame as for the most part, modern Rolex are bloated, blingy and fugly.

I asked my supplier to confirm with JF.

Will it be in 316 or 904? I hope they would do it with an a2824 movement.

I’m kind of afraid such “upgrade” would be 904 instead of the actual 316, with its well known jump in price..

I think it is worth it. Today all big factories are making 904 steel watches and everyone is wanting to buy one. The thing here that this particular model is the most popular one. And can be modded to gen specs due to availability of gen spare parts at very reasonable prices...... oooooh boy i want one

Li at JTime told me that JF is out of stock, not out of production as well.

You know - for a classic clone in 904 with the VRF3135 and no rehaut engraving - I wouldnt mind paying $600-$700 - it would be worth it

What factory among the big ones do you think would excell in reproducing this model today?
