As far as I know the cases are the same. I opted for a 116520 as it’s easier and cheaper to source more genuine parts. Gen barrel, reverse wheel, and bridges have improved the movement (it’s already cool after a service) but these parts give it more life.

Gen Barrel bridge has been an issue with me on the SA4130. In my experience, the only 2 gen bridges that works is the Upper and lower bridges in the autowind module. Maybe other members have succeeded in adding them.

I’m interested in getting more parts but wondered if any would improve the movement even more.

Everyone has a subjective opinion on what to change...Here is my list of key parts to change to gen to improve reliability, power reserve and winding mechanism:
1 - Complete Autowind module
2- Ratchet wheel
3 - Barrel Complete with mainspring
4 -Clutch and maybe the hammer (optional)
5 - Winding pinion, sliding pinion and stem
6 - Chrono wheel for seconds hand (Part 4130 820)

I do put in gen balance assembly as well but that is not a must have.

I don’t really see a reason to improve the power reserve nor the autowinding. They came with 60+ hrs stock and they wind pretty good.
Those are unnecessary IMO, unless something has a defect and needs to be replaced.

Stock 4130 are reliable enough ootb without needing any mod.

I tend to agree with most parts of this movement being good quality (for a rep movement), having serviced a lot of them. For most just change your reversers when servicing.

A gen balance is a big upgrade over the rep. Sometimes the rep beat corrector and regulator are stuck together, not the end of the world but can be a pain depending how bad it is.

clutch module and centre chrono wheel can also be considered if your chronograph doesn’t run smoothly.
