Hi Forum, I was just recently getting into the replica world and would like to purchase a Rolex Explorer I replica from either trustytime or puretimewatch.

I was wondering if anybody has experience with Explorer I replicas and can guide me a little through the different options.

Right now I`m thinking of either buying:

ROLEXP1020 - Explorer 1 Ref.214270 904L SS/SS Blk BP Asia 3132 (~500$)

or

EXPLORER I 214270 39mm ARF 1:1 Best Edition 904L SS Case and Bracelet SH3132 (~400$)

I´m especially looking for a replica where the letters on the ring line up nicely with the minute markers. Form what I can see so far, the BP model comes relatively close. My questions are:

1) If anybody knows, what is currently the best Rolex Explorer I replica model available?
2) Where does the 100$ price difference between ARF and BP come from?
3) What flaws to watch out for during QC?

Any help is highly appreciated. Once I received the watch I will make a full comparison with a friends genuine 214270 Explorer I and share a full review/comparison here.

Many thanks in advance!

I think you better buy the EXPLORER I FOM BP IN 316L SS AND WITH THE A28XX MOVEMENT because there isn't really a big difference between the 904Land 316L but the 904l costs more and u don't even know if the 904 the use is really the 904 that ROLEX is using. About the movement the 3132 clone ones are more likely to break and are more expensive to service, but the 28xx are cheaper to service or you can even swap it with a Real SWISS MADE ETA

ARF or JF hands down for me . Ok so the 3 and 6 markers are slightly the wrong shape . However the rest of the watch is superb . The BP is a great watch though and has the advantages of a clone eta listed above . I would go as far as saying the JF 214270 is the best replica watch i have purchased . Well along with the JF OP114300 , also had no problems with the SH3132 . I think it was the first watch I purchased from Sead and he sourced me an absolutely spot on example. Of course the JF is now only available by M2M , so to purchase new it would be ARF .

Something symmetrically beautiful about a no date dial

I am planning to go BP too. Have been waiting for my ZZF to be replaced for about 4 months now and when that is in I'll get the BP to combine the shipping

I just placed an order for the an ARF 214270 and can’t wait! However I’m waiting on the QC pictures and have to second the OPs third question about what to look out for in the QC pictures, outside of obvious defects.

GMF, 904L, A2824. About 2 weeks old.

That GMF looks pretty good. The dial seems a little bit matte than shiny, is that the case of just lighting? The Gen dial is not as shiny as the BP dial.

Also how is the overall finish? Is the bracelet/clasp nice feeling.

Thanks!
