Sharing another build - one of my few modern projects, a franken Rolex Submariner 116610LN. Here’s the ingredients for a near perfect build, so good even the most astute Rolex expert could never, ever, in one million years tell the difference with a gen:

• Noob v9 Base
• Gen Hand Set
• Gen Bezel Assembly
• Gen Date Wheel
• Gen Crystal

But, being devil's advocate here, would sharp corners on the six and nine (maybe 12 too) markers not be an easy giveaway unless you go for a Gen or zzf dial?

Maybe my descriptive language was a bit hyperbolic. Totally agree - gen or zzf would totally push this to the next level.

I can't really see those little things myself tbh, but for those with sharper eyes than me, it seems to be a thing. Presumably zzf dials are cheap and easy to get should you feel the need? At that point I think your enthusiastic description might be spot on! Gorgeous thing either way.

Only problem with the ZZf dial is the liquid thing in the middle, really grinds my gears when looking at it

For me, it seems a real shame for such a nice watch not to have a gen dial. And like you say hanski, it would push this build to the next level.

Agree on the arf bracelet. Better SEL and clasp!
