Yacht Master 116655

Hello everybody, I have a question about the reference 116655. As I read on the forum, the rg plating looks way too different from gen and moreover I read the plating is thin and is less durable. I like this watch very much but I had to change my mind for these reasons. Anyway, I saw some td sell a ss version, it's the same 116655 rep without the rg plating. It doesn't exists as gen, it may want to look like the white gold one. What do you suggest me? To buy it in ss or to move to another model? I saw a beautiful Air King in the sale section. Thanks friends for suggestions!

It seems like this is going to be your first rep, I'd avoid any plated ones as they will begin to fade over time. Airking would be a good choice for a first rep.

I had one when released and yes the Rose gold was way way different to gen. SS looks a lot better imo.

I have a Panerai 1359, very nice rep and like new conditions bought from m2m, but too big for my wrist. I'm don't whether to keep it or sell it. Also have a cheap sub black dial, my first one and that's why I found this precious forum and registered in. Getting back to the question, what do you think about the ss version of 116655? Shoud I follow my taste o let it go as the gen doesn't exist? Thanks for your kindness!

My suggestion is to avoid 116655, if you like the case shape just go with 126622. I saw pure time has a GMF version with the new update dial. I don't know how the SA3235 movement is.

Hello, this is just what I think I'm going to do. Actually, I'm looking for a rubber o leather strap watch but maybe I'll buy and put that strap on the 126622. Always seen it with ss bracelet but maybe it exists. Thanks!

Difficult to say only from the pictures, but to my eyes doesn't look bad. Ask the people in the forum about the movement, i'm not sure if it's a clone or just a decorated one.

I've just bought an Air King JF Sh3131 from m2m! I thought it was the best option for me, I don't fell confident with rg plated and want to wait for reviews on the 126622.

So buying one in ss wouldn't be that far off base- few people can differentiate between ss and wg.

Can't get the ARF at the moment. I'm hoping they open soon, but if they don't then I might impatiently get the GMF.

Hahaha, I'm after that one. I've got both the upper end BP (exactly the same as the GMF but with 316L) and waiting on the 3EF/JVS which is very close to the VSF. Once they're both here I'll do a review then flip one of them (probably the BP). PM me if you want to get a bargain, otherwise we're both waiting for the VSF haha.
