ZZF is the only choice you got. Others are old models like Noob and JF.
It's not because the noob V8 is older that it's not good
CF insert vs Noob fading insert. 904 vs 316. Hands and dial clearly better for ZZF. I think these are enough consideration.
Unless you’re planning to store your watch in chloridric acid, you’re not going to see any difference between 316L and 904L steels

Subdued , have they fixed the rehaut engraving on the ZZF? It looked poor quality compared to Noob but I've read somewhere they have improved this?
Or swin in the beach every weekend
Well, the v7/v8 is a good watch. My biggest issue would be the dial - the squarish 3, 6, 9 markers and the long "=" to be exact. But on a quick glance, it doesn't look half bad.
(left gen / right noob with arf insert, hands, bracelet and clasp, plus polished space between bezel teeth)
Have you ever seen a, let’s say, Rolex 5513 damaged by corrosion? Because I saw a lot of them in the past used by professional divers (swimming every day, not every weekend)

I dont get your point sir. If you like 316 then go for it
A little help will ARF part will make the Noob a killer. If your Noob is 28xx does ARF hands from 3135 fit?
His point is 904L is not an advantage, unlike what you are stating

I actually put the arf 2824 movement in it, the noob movement died some time ago. So it has a date under the no date dial
You were able to replace a 2836 with a 2824 in your noob? Was there any issues with getting the arf 2824 to fit and/or issues with the crown tube and stem?
Straight swap. Edit: it's been a while and i should add that i don't know the ins and outs of all sorts of movements but whatever was in the arf (2824) did fit the v7 without any problems.
