Do or do not. There is no try.
OK, thank you for your explanation, I was blind, but now I see :) If ZZF is anything like VSF, it's worth givin a shot, I love VSF! I talked to my TD and he doesn't recommend the VR3135 version, he only gets one if you specifically ask for one and must have it at all cost. Is the A2836 version as good as VR3135, apart from the crown height issue?

Good write up about VR3135 here - https://forum.replica-watch.info/forum/the-3135-3131/7428775-vr3135-tear-down-and-cleaned

2836 are more reliable and think you can swap out for a Swiss ETA if you wanted bullet proof reliability. Downside is you cannot use a gen DW or hands, however spongebob did a build a while back where he attached gen hands on a 2836.

If you go 2836 you limit the ‘fraken’ ability of the watch (if thats important to you) but you have reliability.

ZZF just needs bezel teeth and crystal replacement to be super close to gen. Maybe clasp

Franken ability is the least of my concerns, I don't have any interest in that whatsoever. I find the ZZF datewheel quite good as it is. Is the lower position of the crown so very obvious on wrist? Is it obvious at all? I'm leaning more and more towards the no date version, much less potential flaws.

Thanks for the link!

Anyone else have a super stiff bezel on their V2 116610's? Any suggestion on how to loosen it up? It's so tight!

1 The date wheel of the zzf v2 does appear to be very good - the line by line comparison was impressive.
2. The no date version will always be “more gen like” cause it requires less rep parts (datewheel/cyclops) so its a reduced layer of complexity and the zzf v2 dial is very good.
3. If you have no interest in franken go with the 2836

Stem height is not really visible when watch is on a wrist.
Eta case has different crownguards than gen/rep3135 case, and this is visible imo.

U.K.
Mine is firm but ok. It depends on how hard the crystal ring is pressed to the case and probably it is made just a fraction too low than ideal so that when the bezel is pressed it is too tight to the case.

The No Date Version is perfect for me too.

I had them in the mail today and it's a pleasure. Quality is just great for me

Hello guys, is it me or the angle of the picture....I really think the 6 oclock marker is slightly crooked. Can a few of the experts here confirm my finding?
