Hey gang. Little bit of bragging because I’m excited!

red1 has been working on a NOOB/ARF Daytona for me for a few months now. It finally showed up and Wow...was it ever worth the wait/effort.

ARF Dial, Bezel, Crystal, Clasp and a few other bits, powered by a fully serviced Noob 4130 movement.

Getting pics along the way was fantastic.

I spent some time this afternoon oiling and breaking in the bracelet. It’ll take a little more of that in the coming weeks before it feels at home on my wrist, but as of right now I’m super happy!

Buying both watches was about $1,200 and then I think I’m another $650 in labor. I could be slightly off on that though. There were a few parts I needed to buy along the way.

Labor was about $530 after conversion from £.

Overall, a bargain for the level of craftsmanship, if you ask me.

Thank you for the information. I will look into modders that might consider taking on the project for me. Did you have your modder reassemble the less desirable parts back into another watch?

Great job, this Dayto looks amazing!
So what does the watch with the spare parts look like then?

I was thinking of the same, but 1.5k is way too much for a Daytona rep that has a lot of issues (case is totally wrong, and the Noob part of the bracelet is absolutely bad).

Totally wrong case?

I do agree on the bracelet, but you can use a lot from the ARF and make it allright.

I’d also like to say how great the work red1 does is. He did some for me and the quality of work, information and progress updates I got were far, far better than I recently got from the damn Omega service centre....

I wish I was joking.....!!
