Hey gents. Some requested macro shots to see the insert numbers depth and color. I cant do macro on my phone but got pretty close with flash below. I’ll say numerals definitely not white. Silvery, sparkly and metallic.

Thanks mate. What's your position WRT the depth of the bezel numbers? Is that really visible IRL? Sometimes macro shots show issues much bigger than what they are. Thank you

Not sure if is super close to gen or just great photo skills by OP. Here’s a quick gen v rep. You just have to imagine second pic watch rotated milimeters away and you can see how close the case profile looks although it’s tough to see the far lugs because of lighting. I really like the bezel teeth on the ARF they look amazing among other details

They look fine to me. Here is a gen Batman pic which has the same illusion of depth.

That's interesting, thanks for sharing. Depth is indeed very different than for example the pic of the gen LN a few posts up

Thanks for the great review.

This review caused me to change my decision about my first replica, in a few day I’ll give the order. I have 3 questions if you kindly accept;

1- Is this waterproof? If not as a newbie what should I tell to a standart watch repairer to do? Any link that shows the process?

2- My trusted seller told me that the 3186 mechanism is overhaul. I need to make it repair. What is the flaw? What process should I tell to any watch repairer?

3- How am I going to be able to understand if the version of qc is the latest arf?

Thanks. Yes and the angle of the lighting can make small shadows in the numerals making them appear deeper. I don’t have a gen to compare by mutiny looks correct on the wrist:

You take great pics, it could be a gen on the wrist here. I agree about the angle of lighting with the insert engraving depth.

I want one now haha.

So fucking excited. I'm on a 2-3 week wait list.

Asked Puretime to swap my order for the ARF Sub v3 to the ARF GMT (both $488). Something about having a Rolex clone movement as opposed to an ETA clone, makes me feel that I'm getting a better bang for my buck. If the ARF Sub v3 used the 3135 then I might have stuck with the order. The ARF GMT is also thinner at 12mm vs the Sub 13mm which is a big plus in my book.

Would love to see you take some videos, maybe a wrist roll and a video review of your GMT.

Thank you, that does seem deep indeed.

We could say the same of the gen bezel depth magnified 100x. While you guys are splitting hairs here I’m enjoying a solid, well made gen like piece.

Is there a problem with the hour hand as you have 2 pics showing 10 o’clock and the hour hand is lagging in one and too far ahead in the other!?

He must have been using the jumping hand in the unscrewed crown pic, sometimes the hand won’t align properly while jumping, even in the gens, that could be the reason

Good job, brother. I’ve been trying to stay out of this thread because I’m trying to slow down on buying just a little before the holidays but I had to finally check it out. After seeing your pics and review, I don’t know if I can stay away anymore.

As I scrolled through, I think I started to click :like: :like: :like: on every post. Figure it’s better to just tell you in person that you did a great fvcking job. As usual. Awesome pics.

Misaligned hands are a possible issue with all ARF watches.

I got my Sea Dweller like that and have seen a bunch of QC pics of others with the same issue.
This is probably down to 1 idiot at the factory not putting them on properly just for shits and giggles.

It may be due to the jumping hour hand, but for every ARF - do always check the hand position is in sync on your QC's.
