29’s aren’t perfect but not bad.

Font fills the date window more on ARF and is a hair thinner. The latter ‘good’v2/v3 transitional date font was spot on IMO Ironically the ARF date is centred better. In this pic anyway.

Is there a difference between the 2824 and 3135 version of ARF, beside the movement ofc?

I guess DW will also be different, but case, bezel assembly, etc. should be same right?

Got a Gen DW from bananasplit - can strongly recommend him
im going to get it installed in my new ARF V3 A2824... maybe followed by a gen crystal...

Can you replace the ARF DW for a GEN one in the A2824 model?

A2824 is more reliable than SH3135, but it has the wrong crown position, among others.
So, Which is preferable?

Do you think that the crown position is so very obvious if you have the watch on your wrist? You can't put the gen datewheel into the 2824,unless you put it on the existing datewheel as an overlay. I know my watchsmith won't do it, he hates such tasks

My watchsmith told me that the gen DW wont fit in the SH3135 properly either, so there is some work to be done to get it in... :/
everyone tells different things - some say it just fits in the 3135 clone, others say it fits both.
bananasplit and some other user told me it will fit in the A2824 too!

I have a specific QC question, because I don't know if I'm seeing a reflection or is there actually a gap in the upper right corner of the SEL and you can see through:

I think it might even be some sort of a reflection, I'm not sure. In some pics it looks awesome, in others not so very much...
