Hi. To date, the best 42 Explorer is still the Noob with CHS. Black dial version also excellent. Hope this helps.

Did you really mean to recommend the CHS movement or did you refer solely to what is closest to GEN?
Time87 if you are not familiar with the movement differences you should search for info on CHS versus ICHS.

Do you have Pics that show the Lumes on the Watch? Can you please send them?

The latest batch of Noob dials all have quite noticeably darker grey lume, to the point of not being usable without being re-lumed. BP dials have a common flaw of the orange text fading to near invisivilty and the JF bezel has one crooked number and one upside down number (it's an 8, but still one oval is larger than the other).

m5smg2 that's a steller sample, if one is willing to re-lume the dial markers Noob is the way to go.

I think arf and/or vrf will do one and i will wait for it now as we have reliable gmt movement.

Yeah, I hope that as well! Would have bought the noob along time ago if it wasn’t for the risky movement... I cannot travel between time zones and always keep the instructions for setting the time in mind

It would be a whole lot easier for ARF or VRF to make a good one of these than a BLNR or BLRO but I fear the model's relatively low popularity will keep them from getting to it very soon.

I'd have to agree with you there. It's a shame that there not more of a depand. ARF or VRF would make one with ease considering how they tackle some more the more complex models.
