This is a solid step forward for GMT reps.

Any idea of the expected timeline for a Noob BLRO with this new VR3186 movement?

GEN 3186 Movement in the latest Noob Case:

b8fe776a3ead32610b2bface40a96dab.plist
bae796138c55247af855ac52edf3cc6f.plist

Sorry but I’m not sure I understand.
Which lastest noob case is it ?
116610 for 3135 or 116710 for a3186 (the CHS time bombe) ?

Yes, I don't understand how the issue of stem height was addressed. Noob GMT cases whether CHS or ICHS are both 2836 cases with a very low sitting tube and crown. The 2824 CHS movement gets pushed down in the case by a thicker dial spacer, then the DW gets elevated by a taller tooth ring to compensate for the increased cyclops to DW distance. But you can't push the gen 3186 down in a 2836 case to align with the tube as the movement is thicker to start with and you also can't elevate the DW like you can with an ETA. Great to see that a gen 3186 can go in a rep case, I don't see how it can be a Noob 2836 GMT case (CHS or ICHS) though without repositioning the tube.

It's a beautiful Franken bro. In the second pic, it looks like the tube was moved up on the case. The tube hole looks vertically elongated.

Unmodded CHS 2836 case below. Tube hole much smaller and tube sits flush with bottom of the CGs. Your tube appears to be further away from the bottom of the CGs

2836 is very close in height as 3185/86 as 3185 use different date seating then 3135

Excellent news thank you sir! So does the gen tube and crown need to be moved at all when installed, surely it doesn't sit as low as the 2824 CHS crown does.

Some more info here on gen 3186 (and likely this rep A3186 as well) fitting to a Noob case

https://rwg.cc/topic/190047-genuine-3186-movement/

Looks like there are some issues relating to stem height and movement diameter. Maybe some challenges that us mere mortals are not up to. Maybe the rep movement will provide a better fit. We will have to wait and see.

Lowering the movement or the dial in the case is going to over magnify the date. As much of a PITA as it would be I still think repositioning the tube would solve a lot of problems.

Ok thanks for the link.
But isn’t it easier to use 116610 (3135) case as base and transfer the crystal, bezel ...

or there is also a problem of height ?

Will sell my gen movement and will add the VR 3186 as soon as it is out.

But will stick with the noob case, since I guess it’s the best so far (also rehaut etc)

Comparison of stem heights. VRF crown sits noticeably higher. It also has a thicker caseback. Makes me wonder if that's for a reason, i.e., to house a thicker movement.

Ahhhh guys... so funny!!! This night basically all gen bezel assemblies and dials have been purchased from chrono, eBay and whatsoever with a reasonable price!!! Lol, I was supposed to pull the trigger this morning after asking a question for lume color yesterday evening and found out that between 23pm and 6am Europe time, basically all dials have been sold.
Luckily I catched a complete bezel assembly including all gaskets etc. for a reasonable price. Thought to wait for the night but decided to purchase yesterday and had luck. This morning all others I watched were gone as well. Think will source my dial from US now. Not so worried about dials availability at the moment. But get your hands on bezel assemblies as long as you can :)

JD that's a beauty bro. Can you please explain what case that is in and how the stem height issue was addressed?

I used case noob v9 and I fitted the movement in the case with a ring.
The stem haven’t any problem

Question, of course no one as held so far an ARF nor a VRF but, could it be worth buying a gen inner steel bezel and steel ring ?

Not sure if these parts will fit with the bezel.
Most times (what I know from subs), gen crystal ring / retaining ring was not compatible with rep bezel or vice verca. In addition, you need to make sure getting the gen gasket (special gmt gasket), which seems hard to source for a reasonable price. This is at least what I know. Maybe I’m wrong
