A couple of pictures to illustrate the differences of the current Gen, ARF, and Noob Ceramic Bezel Daytona sub-dials.
- The old V1-V2 version is included as some Noob V3 Daytonas are being produced with this dial.

116500 White Dials...
The current ARF and Noob versions are the same thickness as Gen now.
Right Click and Open Image in a New Tab to see it Larger...

116500 Black Dials...
The current ARF and Noob versions are both slightly thicker than Gen now and the Noob is much too shinny.

Thank you very much ;-)

Is there any verdict on the 116520 with silver bezel? I've looked through damn near every thread as of late, and so far really the only thing that gets me on first eye tests is the color of the red daytona (which I think actually looks closer to gen on noob v3 which you've provided?), accuracy of bezel (which apparently the CF variant has much improved on), and the shininess of sub-dials. The dial variations honestly don't seem so obvious to me, I'd probably would weight as more important but that's probably a matter of personal opinion.

I love the silver (greyish) dial, with ceramic white bezel and I swear I recall folks on here mentioning that the silver bezel was closest accuracy to gen vs something like the panda variant - has that now changed with noob v3 / arf v2? I'm still leaning towards noob for OOTB before mods, but in comparison photos the silver bezel just looks so much closer to gen vs the black bezel.... is that a wrong inference now?

Hi guys...

I'm nearing the completion of my Rolex 116500.

I have a Noob 116500 V3 watch, changed the dial to a ARF 116500 V2 Dial, changed the bezel to a clean factory bezel. Added a genuine Rolex Crystal.
I have question regarding the bracelet....

Is the ARF 116500 V2 bracelet better than the Noob V3 one?

I'm planning to sell on the ARF, so might as well make full use of the parts.
I have the Noob V3 Crystal which I will also be selling on. PM if anyone is interested.

Can you show us Noob V3 dial? Is it thin counters version?

I've read conflicting information on this. Can an ARF bracelet fit properly in a Noob v3 or will there be big SEL gaps? Or is everyone just swapping out the Noob clasp for the ARF clasp? Thanks in advance!

if you can get a thin Noob V3 dial. I have your same build and I assure you it is much closer to the gen.

I've already invested a lot in this build.... really don't want to spend more on it.
How much are the dials? And Where do I source one from??

the Noob dial with thin counters is not for sale. However it costs the same as the ARF dial but don't worry, ARF is also good. Congratulations on your beautiful build! ;-)

- ARF V2 116500 Black Dial sub-dials are still slightly thicker than Gen but the overall quality and sharpness is better than the Noob.

- Noob 116500 V3 "thin version" Black Dial sub-dials are closer to Gen in thickness but still too shinny.

The Best combination of parts that you can currently use (other than all gen) to build a Black Dial 116500 Daytona replica.

Great pictures too... thanks for posting these.

in my opinion, too thick subdials are the first thing that indicates a fake Daytona. I have several Daytona Gen and I assure you that fat counters are a punch in the stomach :)
