Hi guys,

today I want to realize a strange idea: a platinum mod on a NOOB Daytona V3 I received last week.
The watch i perfect as it is, but I am a curious, and need to experiment to upgrade the perfection!!;-)
I will use a Molotov 127HS....let’s wait some time to go with Acetone stolen from my wife’s bag.

Looks OK bro, but it's going to be too silver to look like the gen if you used the usual Metallic Silver color. Adding some white to a mix will make it match better. BTW you don't need acetone to take off the excess. A dry q-tip held on a flat angle rubs it off easily.

Sorry for asking, but why would you do this to a V3 bezel? Surely this is a backwards modification....

I really did not like so much the painting on the Noob bezel, it was not so visible ..... so I decided to try, and i love results...i don’t care a lot about gen looking, I care to my feeling with the watch on my wrist....

In the first the modded in on the left, in the second the modded is on the right ;-)

The difference is visible.....bezel now is more “impressive”, balancing the white of the dial

This is exactly my approach as well. My Batman paint mod is way more silver in low light than the gen - it doesn't ever look muted like the gen can, but I love what I see on my wrist and that's the key to a happy repster.

Yes mate, I really love watches themselves, and i spend a lot of the time of my day looking at my wrist, falling in love with dials, bezels ecc.....
