Rose Gold Paint Mod

I have a spare ARF 116500 bezel that would be handy to use on my noob 116515.

Anybody paint modded a platinum coloured insert engravings colour to rose gold with any success?

I have spoken to Spongebob, Tomrep, flying tommy and messaged Smoke...no joy as yet.

No bro, I have never tried to do a rose gold paint mod. There was a member who did a very good platinum color mix of 2 or 3 enamels on a Daytona ceramic bezel. I think that would be the most cost effective was to do this, enamel lasts well and the color can be achieved with some mixing attempts. I'll see if I can find his posts, maybe he would take this on as a challenge project.

How did you do this? Very interested in learn. Been looking for a good ARF RG Bezel.

I used a metallic gold sharpie on the noob bezel to practise with and learned a few things

1. The colour is much more like the rose gold
2. Application is much harder than the same mod with the silver sharpie!

I ended up polishing the RG off the case and turning it into a 116519. I had a spare noob 116520 bezel kicking around that I got plated by a guy in the UK for £30

Just waiting for some pushers from WSO but I know they aren't as good as the noob so I may end up just getting a 116508, and using all my gen parts on that, then using the plated bezel and WSO pushers on a spare ARF 116500 case, Polish off the rehaut and make a backup early 116523 TT with the spare gold ARF dial and hands I've got kicking around
