Does anybody have experience if the movement accepts genuine hands?

I’ve been holding out forever for the ARF release with clone movement and was close to the GMF, then Noob finally drops the Pepsi. Yes I know it’s overpriced, but I just had to have one.

The color? I think it’s close to the latest MK II bezel colors which are toned down a bit. I think Noob used MK II gen. I much prefer the WG and early MK 1 brighter colors. I can tell you the the blue and red transition a lot from indoor lighting to sunlight. The blue goes from Navy to a Royal Blue; the red from a burgundy to bright red. In the sun the blue and red come alive. The bezel fill is not white and has good contrast indoors. For me it’s the best Pepsi bezel yet.

I’ve had 5 Noob’s CHS Batman (and 42 EXP) and movement worked well for me, even daily wear (I always set the hour hand forward to set the date, not backwards). I hope to have the same luck here.

First thing to go is the 80s Jubilee bracelet. Yes it’s beautiful, but it makes this watch look busy IMO. For me the Pepsi bezel is the star on this model and the Oyster bracelet is perfect. Especially brushed. I borrowed my Sub bracelet...for now.

Anyway, some pics of course ????

Thanks for sharing the Awesome pics and insight into your watch.

I ordered mine almost unusually after reading this entire thread.

I can’t wait for it to arrive.

m5smg2 Thanks!

if I used it for LN sub build, would the serial number series be a giveaway?

I guess it would not take a 3135 movement eh

thanks again

Cheers. I dont think the SN is the giveaway if you’re building a Sub. Not sure but I think the Sub case has wider lugs than GMT....smoke and others would know better.

The bezel assy on a Sub is different. Four holes drilled into the case for springs and balls/click on the Sub are not there on GMT case. 24 clicks vs 120. Aside from that and the bracelet, the rep cases are pretty much identical. Also the crystal will sit higher on the GMT to accommodate the extra hand.

It’s a modified ETA clone so gen 3186 will not fit without modding.
Same problem for hands.
Dial will fit if you cut the feet.

So if the dial is modded by cutting/modifying the feet, and I also buy gen hands, I should be good to fit a gen movement, or will the crown/stem not align as well?

Nearer than you think

i wouldn't waste that amount of money to either get a gen 3186 or this watch in particular. more than 600$ for a timebomb? wait for arf since they are making the clone movement

That’s crazy. Are you asking about using a gmt 3285 to try and build a Submariner? Why not just get a Submariner and save yourself...

If it only worked that way. I've directed many many many many people to my dealer and would be lucky to get so much as a "thanks'.
