Completely agree, I see no brown at all. It is remarkable how different the insert looks from one pic to the next. Almost like having two watches. Sigh, I told my wife I would quit at 30 reps but I'm past that and she doesn't know, haha. Now I want THIS at how much!?

You crack me up brother hahah

Hi. Im not a fan of the Jubilee and haven’t used it yet. I think I’m going to try it on my Noob Daytona for sh*ts n giggles. The Noob Jubilee does feel solid and nice finish too. SEL also good.

Thanks for sharing and it looks really great. I have one question though: Can someone please explain why nobody makes round/soft corners on the hour markers at 6, 9 and 12 - like the gen has? Is it really that hard to do? It’s such an easy tell in pictures. I’m sorry if this has been discussed before (which it probably has :))

It would cost 3 cents more per marker

I'd pay $30 per marker, sheesh

Oh I know. I've said that about a lot of things on reps. They shoot for the lowest standard that still guarantees a sale, every time they can. How much more would we pay for a better one of these in a CHS movement?

I'm pretty sure that Rolex, with the amount of money that they invest in R&D, can produce the inserts in the exact colour that they choose

I’m sure part of their logic is to not only “produce a particular color” but produce a color that can not be easily replicated. I’m sure they could make any color red or blue hey want, but they have to make it a nice red or blue that is at least slightly distinguishable visually from another factories capabilities. And they obviously do that very well.

I can see how this kinda looks brown. Especially when not next to the blue to offset it.

If looked like a darker shade of brown on my tablet.

the GMF is smooth to touch vertically, but across the links horizontally not so good

Nobody knows. For all we know they may have scrapped the project for movement issues. And if they insist on using cases with fat lugs, and inserts with uncentered engravings, I don't have high expectations.

BP/GMF typically cuts corners on SS bracelets and clasps, especially Pres and Jubilee bracelets, and 5 digit clasps. They don't finish the inner link sides but leave them rough cut. I've had several of them I ended up replacing with ARF bracelets, even after spending a lot of time buffing them out. I was able to improve them so they weren't so sharp but it's a huge amount of work for only a modest gain.
