Yuki 1675 case kit

Just today I had been browsing around for a case kit for a 5512/5513 build and came across this on Yuki's site:

I saw on there the caseback is stamped '5513 I.72' and has 'orig rolex design 1680' stamped between the lugs. Could this be a Cartel 1680/5513 case with a 1675 bezel/crystal and smaller crown?

No, it's not a Cartel case, just a mish-mash of bits, which is why it's only $138.

Dont buy yuki case, loads of flaws... get a cheap 1675 and mod it , or a phong if your budget follows

Do you think it would be worth looking into for a cheapo 5513 build?

There's some weird dimensions given - accepts a 28.6 mm dial, which is bigger than 5513 and 1675 dials, says it's for a DG3804B but the crown height looks too high for that movement. Too many risks that you'll end up with something you can't do anything with.

If you want a 5513 to mess about with, just get a Cartel 5513 from one of the TDs - about $130 with a DG2813.

- The 5517 milsub actually has the 5512 or 5513 case? Why DG2813? Easier to find dials?
- What was the cheapest mod you ever made but is was a good value?

That's 4 questions.

The Rolex MilSub used the 5513 case.

Watches with the DG2813 are the cheapest, so not the end of the world if you mes it up, and they are low beat, like the gens were.
