Rolex Day Date 40 changing Day Wheel

Hope this is the right area to post this question.

I have recently purchased BP factory Rolex Day Date 40 and was wondering if anyone has successfully changed the Day wheel for a genuine?

Besides the weight and Day Wheel font almost every other aspect of the Day Date rep is spot on when compared to a gen.

Wonder why none of the factories have made a 1:1 rep of the Day Wheel.

I am pretty sure it can be done.
This is what a gen day disc (For Day Date 40) looks like. You can see that it can be glued onto the ETA 2836-2 movement's stock day disc:

Hell, even my superfranken 18239 has a gen day disc glued onto the ETA 2836-2 movement:

Do you know if the Day wheel will work with other movements or only the 2836-2?

Also, did you do the mod on the franken yourself or did you buy it as is?

Depends on the date change direction and other things

I franken and mod my own stuff with occasional help for reshaping as I don't have time
