Hi folks...

Been a while... Im out for a two-tone Datejust and have doubt on which to choose... ARF or DJF?!

I have made this comparison and here it seems to be ARF look better regarding to:

• Rolex crown on dial (more rounded and similar to original)
• Print on dial
• Markers
• Hands (looks slimmer and more correct size compared to original)
• Date (dificult to see, but seems slimmer)

What do you think?

davealum - do you think the shade of blue is accurate to gen? Does it seem like there's a purple hue at some angles/lighting?

Asking bc I ordered a silver white datejust by DJF but debating switching it up for the blue instead...

Plating can vary, I generally avoid two tone for that reason. On bracelets like the Cartier ballon bleu one can remove all of the mid links....re-plate them or swap in gen mid links. Not only do polished oyster mid links show scratches easily, they are not easy to remove. If you really want two tone, maybe it's better to go for a jubilee bracelet. Of course you can have two bands and save the two tone for "special" ocassions.

Thanks for the reply. I absolutely prefer the jubilee bracelet for this watch, not fan of the oyster bracelet. Do you if its possible to remove mid links on jubilee bracelet?
My thought was that one can always buy a new brecelet and fit, if (when) it start to fade... Would be wonderful if they would offer the watch with 30 mils gold plante or some like that

1. yes you can remove the midlinks easily.
2. would be great when they do wrapping, but the factory wont do that bc of the higher cost.
3. NOOB and BP plating is not so good. but ARF plating is very good, the gold doesnt hold 5 years but 1 - 2 years . I have the Twotone Sub and wear it everyday , light and heavy scratches and the gold doesnt fade away. And when someday the Gold fades away i just buy a new bracelet. It is "just" 500 bucks for a 10k flex watch, so we dont have to be nitpick. When somebody has ultra high standards, just buy the Gen and the problem is solved...
Thats my Opinion and i can say it is totally worth it:p
