Hello everyone,

This is my first post and I hope I will make it according to the rules of the forum - I did my best to read the "readmes".
As many said before me, thank you everyone for the great forum. I've been a long time lurker and now hopefully on my way to become a part of the community.

I've been reading this forum for a long time and finally I've pulled the trigger on a Rolex Submariner ARF 1:1 SH3135V2. I have learned a lot from you guys on what to look for in QCs and as I have received mine just now - I wanted to get your opinion on couple of things I have noticed. My questions are whether "is it fine to accept it this way?" or "is this normal in this ARF model?" as you guys know a lot more about these productions and whats normal vs what's not. As an FYI - this watch won't be franken, it will be used as is.

From the pictures I have noticed 3 abnormalities (I am sure many can find more, I am maybe not as detail oriented as others).

1. I feel that the line of 9 o'clock on the ceramic bezel is too close to the inner circle.
I read in this forum that ARF models can have this issue and they are not perfectly centered. However, comparing my QC pics with other's QC pics for the same watch, I feel that mine is almost touching the sapphire glass... Is this normal, or this is something I should point out and ask for a change?

2. I think that the amplitude of the watch is a little too low? I've read on the forum that it has to be above 265 or something. I am no watch expert, but what does that do exactly? Is 250 a reason to ask for a change? Note that I have also purchased a time accuracy regulation from puretime. I don't know if that will solve this issue or not. I would expect this to solve the delay and advancement issues. Unfortunately, where I live, there is no place I can take this watch for a service... So I would prefer the functioning to be as good as possible.

3. Cyclops alignment and AR coating seems to bother me a little bit. I don't know if the Cyclops doesn't seem to be centred on the DW because of the angle of the picture or not? What do you think? Also, the Cyclops seems to have not enough AR or maybe too much? Is this common to this model? Is it OK to accept it.

From my learnings from this forum - I will ask them to send me pictures with the lume, date at 21, date change time so I can verify them too. But from what I can see, this is what i can point out.
I would very much appreciate your input in this as I would like to get a good piece like everyone in this hobby. Also, if you can see anything else, great if you can point out. If not (and if it then becomes against the rules, no worries, the ones I pointed out are the ones that I can see and I am happy to not see the others :)). After all, ignorance is bliss.

Thank you everyone!!

1/ is a well known issue with all ARF sub inserts
2/ it's a bit low but nothing too bad. I doubt that their regulation service will change this
3/ looks good to me

Thanks for pointing that out. I am new to the environment. Does this work better?
Thanks!

To Tobel, I know it's well known for the ARF. But it seems even more pronounced. I am comparing mine to another members model, which I reviewed in this forum (https://imgur.com/a/s2T06g9). If you look at his/hers, it looks more acceptable. What do you think?

What are you talking about? Did you read the arf threads? The bezel issue is a known issue on ARF subs, so not a reason for rejection

I don't know if there is a problem with my computer but I am struggling to upload pictures directly here.

I understand and read that. But compared to these pictures: https://imgur.com/a/s2T06g9 (which belongs to another member) it seems that mine is even worse...

Otherwise, thanks for your input!!

Honestly I don't see much difference. Maybe his 40 is better but on the other hand look at his 55 marker, it looks worse than yours. And in any case you have no idea whether you would get a better or a worse one if you rejected. That's why it's not a reason for rejection. You need to be fair with your TD, QC pics are not meant for that. Every time a watch is rejected, they need to source another watch from the factory. How many times do you think they'll accept to do that for such small things?

If it bothers you that much just change it for the Noob version

Thanks for pointing that out. I in fact did not notice that.
I am all for fair play - that is why i am asking if it's a reason or not. And I agree that nothing guarantees a better watch... I think mine 40 and 45 are worse than his but my 55 is better. And as far as i understand from you, that is normal and not a reason for rejection. Right?

In terms of amplitude, if they say that the regulation service i purchased doesn't improve the amplitude but only the second per day delay - should i ask something else, given that I have no one who can service this watch for me where i live?

Thanks!

Yes, the thing is that the issue is not that the markers are too close from the border, it's that the printing is not perfectly aligned with the center of the bezel. So a marker that is too close on one side means that the market on the opposite part will be too far. There are variations but I've never seen a perfect one.

Amplitude is not great but it's ok. Worst case case if fails you can ship your watch to one of the modders here that is closest to you.

I have an ARF from the first badge and I never noticed the bezel issue until I read in here. That is not a problem for me.
Regarding the amplitude, it will go up if they will wind the watch fully. To me the SEL is very important and the bracelet.
I also believe that the ARF crystal is better then noob.

I understand but is it that much? Can you please check this one https://imgur.com/a/s2T06g9 and compare it to mine, https://imgur.com/a/WwtsrkX. I feel that mine is almost on the glass... That is why... Trying to insert the pictures directly here. Hope it works.

All pictures

Dude, you are nitpicking a Chinese-made, replica, Rolex watch. Nobody (including you) will see if there is a micro nano meter difference in the insert marking.

Now, a serious question: what do you do for a living?

I am not. And I checked the video they have on the dealers website and realized it is also there so i am fine. I realized about this on the QC and not the video. As you say it's a tiny thing. I just wanted to understand if it was something important.

I work as a management consultant at a top firm (MBB). So a lot of people around me wear real ones. Why?

I figured you were in some hyper-technical field where being anal retentive is a plus. The watch is fine. If you are concerned about getting called out it will NOT happen. Accept the watch and have fun with it.

U.K.
What you need to do is fit the clean factory insert and gen crystal like me although the date is a bit too bold.
