SEL Gaps - Datejust 36mm on Jubilee

I know SEL gaps are “normal” in the rep game. However, the DJ I just received not only has gaps at the end links but the end link moves up and down slightly at the gap with an audible “click” sound.

At the gap, the end link pivots up it sits very slightly above the lug. I can then use my thumbnail to press the end link back down into position, below the lug, and it again makes an audible “click” sound.

Question: I knew SEL gaps were “normal” but I never read anything about movement/play in the end links. Is this normal and is there a fix? Is it an issue with the case, the bracelet or simply the spring bars?

You need new push pins. It happens a lot with alignment of reps holes. The push pins are cheap. Get ones that have more of a smaller end that come out to a larger mid section. It will stop that slip of the tip out of the hole.
