16610 without Rolex clone movement?

I know it seems like a noob question but I really looked around and did not find an answer.

My good friend, no knowledge of reps, asked me to find him one. I thought... that’s easy, I’ll look for a 2836 (for reliability) and order it. Wrong :)

I only see the JF (no eta) or cheapo 150$ models :(

Any help? Thanks in advance.

The 16610 is slowly being phased out- I don't even know if the JF is still available. All you can do is check with the TDs and ask what is available. Or keep an eye on M2M sales, but I'd figure a good 16610 is in the $400-500 range.

And probably with the rolex clone :(
Thanks for the help.

there isn't, even JF SH3135 is always out of stock!!!
ask TD if he can source you a JF, that's the best you can get these days, unless you can find a TC on m2m which doesn't happen very often.
so yes indeed The 16610 is slowly being phased out :(

Lord..... get a BP 16610, any TD can get it for you and it comes with the 2836 or a 2813 or even a miyota movement, Alternatively you could go on DHgate find seller (good roiexx) and buy a BP 16610ln from him with either movements though dhgate and that seller aren’t TDS, I’ve bought from him before with no issues.

I found dhgate.com but there's thousands of watches- would be nice to get thru the crap and find the nice watches.

Are the BP all the same in look? Or depending on the movement (2813, 2836, miyota...) the outside quality is different?

On Dhgate I could only find 2813 BPs.

Same externally, message the seller and tell them you want a 2836 movement. Make sure you read reviews on the seller your buying from too.

Since it is for a friend who is a lot easier than me regarding flaws... I think the 2813 is good enough.

The good-roiexx should be the seller to use right?

Check out Canton_Fair on the Gate. They have a 16610 with drilled lugs, thin CGs and the 2813 you want. This model case is getting tough to come by. On the Gate, you just need to make sure their picture is what you get ... ask them in advance if exactly the same as pictured.

This is not BP. And it has no reviews... do you think it is better than the BP?

This is just my opinion ... if you can get a 16610 with drilled lugs and the properly shaped crown guards I’d go for it. If BP has that case, go for it. I can’t see many people disagreeing regarding the increasing scarcity of that case.

Good roiexx is a sellerI’ve used and had luck with, he also has lots of positive reviews. He does in fact have BPs I don’t know about the other watch mentioned so can’t comment. But drilled lugs on a decent 16610 case would be cool.

Why not go for the SH clone by JF, seems much more reliable over the years. Many buyers send for a full service and DW (and xtal) swap, and you have a cheap franken that'll last.
