Date wheel on 1675 - need advice from pros

Hello,

I almost finished upgrading my 1675, just need correct endlinks and still debating if I want to stay with all red gmt hand, or go for small arrow.

Anyway the only thing that I'm not satisfied with is overlay for the ETA 2386 with open 6&9.

No matter how much I try to align it is still not center or some numbers are higher or left justified.

What are my options? I was thinking to buy gen 3135 open 6&9 and just use it as an overlay but it's kind of hard to get it and a bit on the expensive side. Plus it's not the same font?

Is there any other ways to adjust it?
Any other overlays than the Ebay ones? I tried 3 different ones and they are the same and looks like they came from same manufacturer.

The riyi open 6 9 will always have some left justification. It may have a tiny bit up and down. That is what you can buy by itself online. There are better ones out there but you will have to pull it out of a watch, IE the DWO on the cartel 1675s are pretty good.

A modded gen DWO wont work and is a waste to shave off the nubs just to glue onto a rep movement.

So I should source cartel 1675 then.. that's the best cheapest way ? I will look Into that.

Someone should make those 1675 overlays a bit better

BP 1675 DWO is very good.

I also think that the BP 1675 DWO are very good, but the gen 3135 open 6 & 9 date wheel would be a better option for me

BTW I wouldn't use a 2813 DW or DWO in a 2836. I have found some 2813 date windows not aligned with 2836 ones. Especially coming from DHGate. I bought a Gate rep just for the dial. Not only was the dial not like it was pictured and wrong (maxi markers on a 5-digit) but the 2813 date window isn't aligned with a 2836 DWO.

The DW on your linked watch looks like it has 2813 fonts, which are often different from 2836 fonts. Pic below shows 2813 fonts on the right, 2836 fonts on the left. Both of these fit a DJ41, which has a date window 1mm right of the 40mm watch dials.

So I quess it's just a luck if I'm gonna get the one that will fit ?

Is there any other way to source only dwo? Should I ask TDs?

That looks like it might be OK, the date window looks closer to center post than others I've seen. Please keep us posted. That's not a bad looking cheapie!

I will, yeah in not that bad.


In the mean time I was able to mod the gen bracelet and endlinks to fit case a bit better and also accept 2mm gen spring bars.

Nice work on the endlinks and the lug holes! Looks much improved. I like the all red hand. I would be so tempted to put this on, I know I wouldn't be able to resist.

Yeah i ordered thru dhgate should be here soon.

All blue insert, that's interesting. And looks nice , I have gen insert currently I like it, and I'm waiting for fushia/pink from that Instagram guy.

Hmmm.... blueberry on jubilee? Is it correct?

But I like it, maybe not so much as Pepsi but i can always switch back and forth
