U.K.
Can anyone else confirm this?

Zzf as all makers use an overlay on top of the 2824/2836 datewheel so yes it is interchangeable between the two. 3135 is not the same and will need a gen datewheel to cure bad fonts.

And I presume the 2836 DW is not interchangeable with a 2824 or 3135 movt?

2836 DW will not work in a 3135

There is more space between the movement and the dial on a 2836 than a 2824 to allow room for a daywheel. The 2836 DW has a taller teeth ring on it than the 2824 so the date will not look sunken. So using a 2836 DW in a 2824 movement will usually require some modding or the 2836 DW will not clear the back of the dial in a 2824. Since they both use overlays, the simpler solution would be to lift both DWOs off and put the 2836 DWO on the 2824 DW.

I watched the video but cant really understand whats wrong with the hour insicates. It look a bit weird but cant realy say its spesifacly. Could it be because of lighting?? And if anyone knows would that be noticable in the real life

Check previous pages on this thread, there are a couple shots explaining this. The dial is a bit curvy around the hour markers as well as the center of the hands, making it look that they are flooded in a thin layer of water. :)

It looks almost as if the dial is too thin and/or the hole puncher or drill press exerted too much pressure. The area around the holes has a downward curve leading to the hole instead of being perpendicular to the cut.

I Use dial dots when applying an overlay to a 2824 to lift it clear of the movement works. A trick I used when building Tc subs on advice from the man himself.

I may have missed it. Why is the ARF bracelet better than ZZF?

It seems to me that the ZZF is the way to go if they can fix the rehaut. Having the clean factory bezel and great DW are really nice upgrades to have, especially since the price isn’t more than the others. Overall, its flaws, other than rehaut and crown position due to the movement type, are mainly all just nitpicks that would probably never be noticed unless next to a gen.
I expect to buy this when they release a v2 fixing the rehaut.

It roughly finished and very noisy compared to Noob V8. But I haven't tried bath treatment. I hope newest model is better.

Will be interested to see more real life pics and user experience. That’s bad to hear about the rough finish and noisy movement!

Just to be clear, bracelet is noisy but I think oil bath helps

It's unfortunate the case and crown height and CG's will never be correct because you are using the A2836. This day and age of Noob's awesome 4130 and ARF's SH-3135 and VRF's VR-3135, insisting on the A2836 is just sad. But thanks for your awesome effort in this comparison thread, OP.

Are all those movements really good? Better than swiss ETA? I have a BK noob v7 and he insists on the swiss ETA which I like but I am considering a clone of some sort...always scared about reliability though
