Modder capable of turning an SH3135 into a franken 3185 or 3186?

Hey y'all, I wanna source the following parts and get them installed in an SH3135 to convert it to GMT. I'd like to install this in the GMF BLRO that I have on the way.

Does anyone know of someone who can take the work on? Thanks in advance!

Ive been down this road, I’ve enjoyed my gen 3186 since the day it arrived.

my 3185 0 seconds of enjoyment.

almost impossible to find someone to work on it.

i’m at the point where I’m gonna to attach a fishing lure to mine and see if works better as a fishing lure.

movments more reliable.

pretty much anything besides this what appears to be awesome movement.

If you think I’m the unlucky one, I’ve had it serviced three times. Once my own fault.

the rest same issues, look at for sale ads everyone who had built one has sold and gone gen.

save the money man.

My super franken blnr has been running gen movement for a year 0 issues.

My super franken hulk has a SA zero issues and runs perfect.

my 4130 from noob out of the box runs better than all.

my 3185 gained 6 hours over night.

choose wisely.

There was a gen, new old stock, never been installed 3186 for sale on Ebay about two weeks ago for around $3,800. I don't remember the exact price, but it was about a grand higher than the 3135 I saw at the same time.

CarlosFFF Ack I cringe at the thought of you using a GMF for your Franken bro. The rehaut is really bad. I rejected GMF Bluesies for this reason, plus the crystal sits way high. Any way you go you'll need a better insert, Noob is a much better case IMO.

did you have the hybrid sh3185?

crazy you had that many issues with it.

OP, the gen 3185 parts swap directly onto the sh3135 with minor modification to the mainplate of the 3135.

to complete the project, you will also need gen or gen spec hands (CHS hands do not work) and a gen DW

Misiekped over at RWG built mine. Ran like a champ for 3+ years with no issues, I sold it on but I assume I’d have heard if the buyer was having problems with it. Bout a 16570 polar franken and it was great.

Not all of them perform +- 0 sec but pretty close
If you have access to gen 3135 for under $2K then that’s a better option to use gen and convert to 3185 with gen parts
