TD admitted there is something off with the dial and offered sending a new dial.
What do you guys think? Should I ask for a new bracelet as well and finish this or should I do something else ?

Just checked a couple of TD sites who still list the JF v2 ( though i don't think they can source them ) with macro shots = polished like gen , dark Rolex logo like gen , Y8C clasp code.

Factories use whatever parts they have on hand to put watches together. Your bracelet fits beautifully onto the case I wouldn't give the clasp code a second thought, I've seen plenty that deviate from the usual. On a completely brushed bracelet, not one person in five could tell 316L from 904L. It doesn't look or feel any different. I would take the free dial, have it put in and put all this behind you.

There nothing wrong with that chap there's no feel difference between 904 and 316 when it is brushed . What 904 watches do you have and have you ever handle a genuine explorer 1 ?

For me JF/ARF dial was always one and the same dial, no matter which v was is it called.
I think this is ARF case because of the engraving, ARF engraving is superior over other factories.
What do you mean "doesn’t feel like it" ? You cannot "feel" whether a metal is 316 or 904.

JF fixed the E X PLORE R spacing issue on their dials from V1 to V2. ARF dials never had that issue.
I would take KJ 2020's sage advice !! That bracelet looks great by the way . Now you have given more pictures you have an ARF IMO opinion with a dial you are not happy about and a fubarred rehaut . The TD is giving you a new dial when you have it fitted straight up that rehaut and Bob's your uncle and Fannies your aunt job done .

My comparison on the bracelet is with the gen bracelet yes and it feels heavier significantly and way better quality..
Overall watch feels light btw

Cheers mate. I can’t edit the thread anymore to update. I’ll make a new thread when I get a day spare with all the latest updates.
That's why i asked him then gen only weighs 136g with all its links . If i remember rightly without running to my watch box my JF v2 weighed 141g but it did fit my chunky wrist straight out of the cardboard box it came in .
