Need help identifying this movement

Hi guys,

I have this noob submariner from many years ago. Trying to change the movement but I forgot which is it. Need help confirming this is A2824 movement before I buy the replacement.

Looks like a really cheap version of a DG2813. Those movements are about $20 on eBay.

If that movement fits properly then the replacement would be eta2836. It’s got about the same stem height.

I think it's a dg2813 and if you go to a 2836-2 you'll have to change the hands also and probably come up with a DWO if it's a date model. The good news is you can probably use the movement spacer that's in there.

You are exactly right. I got new set of hands for the eta movement and DWO. Using dial dots to stick the dial. Pulling my hair out trying to align the date. Overall, a good learning experience.
