Sourcing a Noob V9 116610ln Case question

I am looking for a replacement case and would like to get a Noob V9 116610 case. I contacted three of the main TDs here and only one of the two said that they could. The other two, which originally were the only ones able to offer the true V9 when they came out, are not able to get them.

My question is, do you all think that the one TD that said they can source it, have the real Noob V9?

I am looking for Noob V9 case as well. My TD told me that it's impossible to buy it alone and I have to buy the entire watch. If u can share with me the name of TD that can provide it, I will be very glad. Even in private message. Tnx

This is going to sound inexperienced, but will the Noob V9 case accept an upgraded Yuki 3135/SH3135 with gen parts or gen 3135 movement? I have read on other boards that using the case, along with one of those 3135 options, gen crown, gen dial, gen hands, Prof or gen Xtal, and then gen insert or modded insert is the best recipe for a super franken. Or do you need to specifically request a 3135 case set?

Yes, that is what the TD is offering. The case, bezel, insert, springs and crystal.

I order case sets all the time from PureTime. How ever its my understanding its on a per customer basis. Every case I've ordered I've ordered the watch as well previously. Also NEW cases are never AVL right away.

@ Tyl88 When the v9 noob was originally released, yes, they were selling v8 as v9s in the beginning first batches. Whether they did it intentionally or not is not for me to say, as they were getting them from their manufacturer, not blaming just citing what happened. There were only two TD.s that actually had the real v9 at first, Toro and Intime, I believe. Then as time went by..all TDs were able to source them. Going off of this history...one would assume....If it was me I would not buy it. I would throw caution at the wind and try to get one M2M...and resell parts.

another repercussion of this debacle, I had said from the beginning...sooner or later...m2m will be selling their v9's...some of them do not know it was a v8? sooner or later the used m2m will be flooded with v8/v9 that was originally sold...

Hmmm.. theres a member here who bought off PT, but i cant tell the difference between V8 and V9. Unfortunately i just bought an ARF 3135 case, will see how it goes if i dont like it then i’ll sell it in m2m and get it from PT.

IIRC the only difference between the two was supposed to be 904L on the V9. Other than that they are identical so you would not be able to tell them apart unless you have super vision. I have a V9 904L date and a V8 316L no date and see absolutely no difference between them. In fact the V8 no date is engraved 116610, not 114060. Thanks Noob!
