Looking great so far! Could you please direct us to what type of enamel paint you are using and the technique you are using as well? Thanks again!

I’m using Testors White Flat Enamel Paint. Fine paint brush. Put one coat on,at it dry, then carefully scrap off the excess with a toothpick.

Its turning out out pretty good thus far.

Here’s a shot of the second coat complete on the 70-60 and the Unit per Hour. Looks really good if you ask me.

Wow, thats fantastic. I bet a lot of work though? How long did it took?

but a great alternative to modding!

Finished product! Yes that’s a Noob Bezel!!

Let me know what you all think. I’m digging it.

Looks like really good work, but i think it highlights the serif font flaw even more. The R is screaming at it's loudest to me right now. I wonder if this can be applied to the already almost perfect arf.

I agree with you. However, since the ARF Bezel is practically impossible to get without buying the entire watch right now, I think this is a damn good alternative.

The Noob is just so faded and thin....

I guess this is up to the individual's perspective (doing this mod as an alternative to arf bezel) but very nice DIY job you did there. I think it looks so good. pity the font isnt salvageable. I guess if Noob comes up with a new bezel without a font issue ur mod will make it comparable to an arf bezel.

Looks great, nice big detailed picture... Are you happy with everything?

Good question....... If im honest I think i had built myself up to expecting some kind of perfection after reading these pages and so was caught out a little by some minor niggles. I was perhaps unreasonably expecting the bracelet to have a micro adjuster which it doesn't. This kind of leaves me inbetween links for a perfect fit. Secondly the crown and the pushers were a bit 'gritty' when i unwound them to use them. The pushers after a few uses have actually become a lot smoother but the crown still has a lack of smoothness about it.
Putting those probably unreasonable expectations to one side it looks and feels great after 24 hours of ownership.

I have to say that the face of this watch is actually very small compared to the images we are all posting on here and it would be pretty difficult to pick out some of the stuff I was poring over in my QC pics. Even though i tried on some PM Gens previously i never looked that close at the faces and so didn't really notice how small the dials actually were.

All in all im happy and the watch is very comfortable to wear.

The bracelet does have a 5mm adjustment at the end. But if you are referring to the micro-adjustment similar to the sub then no. This is after all not a dive watch.

Mine feels the same. Feels like rough gear turning inside. Not buttery smooth like a gen. I wonder if there is a fix for this.

Ah yes, I just got the 5mm adjuster to work. It was very stiff and wouldn’t work earlier, hence the comment. Thanks for making me look again!

Hi everyone! Firstly i want to thank you all for the great information i get to access in this forum. After reading for 6 months i finally decided to get my first watch (Noob daytona V2.2 116500). And today is my first day actually posting something. (Will definitely participate more in the future)

I got my QC photo from our TD today. Will really appreciate some opinion from you guys.

The SEL gap do looks abit wide IMO.

And i would like to confirm if this is the latest noob V2.2 updated dial.

Thank you all in advance for helping a learning bro here. Thank you!

Firstly thank you for your post. I imagine it must feel great to get into the action with everyone. Welcome.

My next comment is related to the broader group of people who are posting QC photos.

Why is everyone these days trying to be smart by writing that they only want to know about the dial or the SEL gap, but are posting much more QC photos than required to discuss the matter.

Finally OP, your watch looks fine. Noob SELs are imperfect. That's one of the known flaws we accept with this maker's model.

That looks like the v2.2 dial to me. I have 2 from. Noob already.

Hello everybody ! It’s a pleasure to join the community :)
i have a question : why almost everybody is getting the 116500 version and not the 116520 anymore ?

I would like to get the 116520 black dial (noob) do you think the finish of it is not good enough ? The Bazel looks more geniun than the 116500 models

Also I’ve red that the bracelet of the ARF model are better and some of you think that the boob bracelet looks cheap. But noob bracelet with 904l steel doesn’t solve that problem ?

Thank you for all your answers and contribution guys :)
