The gen has the ref. on the bracelet. This happens for the case with holes but in this case the sel have not the space to get off the spring bars.. for this i think the gen bracelet maybe a transition model between hole and not hole case. What do you think about?

Yes. Jf is wrong reference and so the sel is not good for BPSD case.
The Gen sel is perfect for no hole case.

The 93160 was a 93150 modified with SEL, polished sides, and the removable extension link for the SD.

The reference is obviously wrong because the JF bracelet is for the Sub not the SD.

I'm curious about your thoughs on the JF SEL, why do you say it ain't good for the BPSD?

The 93250 jf sel is less thick than bp and gen. When the jf sel is attached to the case it has a slight play. This play makes the sel not perfectly aligned with the case while it is tight between the lug.

In this photo bp case with jf 93250.You can't see it from the photo but exactly at that point circled there is a millimeter of light with the case.

Thanks for you photo and explanation!

I've installed gen spring bars on my SD with the JF bracelet, it aligns perfectly and it also doesn't have any gap or play. At least I don't see it or feel it.

The 16610 sub end links are a different shape, this was explained in a SD franken build thread. That’s why they are wrong they are designed for a different watch, even if they do fit the SD case.

yes Cannizzaro in the following photo you can see a gen 16600 P serie (circa 2001)
b8f91128fb13f5fd0f84bbe234725376.jpg

there is no space to remove spring bar in the sel in fact you can use the holes on the case

you also can see the ref. printed on the last link ...

the no holes case on 16600, came out in 2002/3 the F series should be the first. To proof the “transitional theory”, we have to find a16600 F series sd and looking for numbers reference visible on the links....

Thank you persico, very exhaustive and competent explanation. So my gen bracelet is definitely a transition model

My BP SD build is also like a year 2002 model.
Lug hole case with "Swiss Made" dial and newer style (no lug hole case) bracelet.

Here are two lug-hole models but with the newer bracelet. (2002 transitional models = lug hole case and newer bracelet)
See the attached links:
