Update: New bracelet with old style endlinks to match my "vintage" build.

Its 2 braclet combined in one and now I added gen end links. The clasp is from newer style submariner.

midlinks are solid

You could try Startime supplies they have a very decent IMO bracelet hollow mid links and correct connection prices at the end links and clasp

I actually changed the bracelet and build a gen one to finish this build off.
Correct period endlink , bracelet and clasp code (clasp is on its way)
had to source rolex pins and figure out the way they mushroom pins. Not easy.

Sorry for my noob question, but what do you mean with “Gen date disc with open 6&9” this is a term that I have found in some threads regarding DW, but I can’t figure it out and even try to search it’s meaning but wasn’t succeed.

It's just as it sounds... The printed 6&9 loops don't connect.

you see how open the 9 is. The left part doesn't touch the main part of the 9 I dont know how to explain it better as my English is not that good.

Yeah I like those much better too, unfortunately they are harder to find and are much more expensive

Hello,

I'm so into moding right now that I want to share my build and if someone has some advice what to change and fix please tell me.

so my build is

if 16610 with drilled holes
sh 3135
gen crystal no are
gen insert
gen crown
gen spider dial


So far I did opened the watch and oiled all the gaskets and pressure tested it to 9 bars its holding up great.

Polished bezel scallops, sides of the case, crown and insert.
Chamfered the clasp per gen specs
Fixed uneven brushing on the bezel.
shaved SELs so all have same size


future upgrades :

movement service with a lot of gen parts for reliability
gen data disc for correct period
gen tritium hands
