Does anyone make a decent 14060 rep?

I have a gen. But would like a rep for travel in scetchy places or work where I don't feel like tearing a 7K watch up. Especially with the proper sized case.

Trusty time has one in their online store but it seems to date back some time so probably is not a currently available model.
You gave to scroll through hundreds of subs on their site to find it.

I took an ARF and installed a 114060 gen dial..took out the xcrystal....my beater watch..to do exactly what you want it to do. 6 digits of course.

Yep, that 26.91mm size of the 14060 could be a problem- 16610 is 27.3mm and rep 16610 dials are typically a little larger. the 14060 might fall thru the JF case.

Thanks for the catch, I didn't know!

So the trustytime ones are garbage? Look great on the website but that means nothing...

I don't think it would be garbage - people often judge older reps according to what they've grown to expect from 6 digit replicas - they forget that older Rolexes are less shiny, rougher around the edges, lighter, and more tinny than the current crop - and the older reps mirror this.

In my opinion this old 14060 copy would probably look and feel better in hand than the JK Factory vintage subs - which are very popular and big sellers.

The two things I have doubts about with Trusty Time's 14060 are:

1. 'Swiss ETA' movement - unlikely!
2. Whether the size is accurate to the real 14060 (which, as people have said, is smaller than a 16610) - most likely it is a no date dial fitted to a 16610 rep case.

I'd be happy to be proven wrong!

Yeah, I'd want to know that too. The dimensions seem right on the website. But the cheaper 114060 reps I've seen are just Date size cases with a no date dial. The no-dates are almost a mm thinner and slightly smaller in diameter.

You know csalt, I don't think you have Trustytime's correct website- last time I looked it ended in .club.
And you can certainly get a rep 14060 and it will be a 16610 sized case, but I doubt anyone will notice.

If you really like the watch, that's what counts!

Thanks alligoat. That takes me to the same page.

The thing is the case size is part of what I like. The no date wears noticeably thinner than the date.
