I'm just totally ocd over these rounded edges. It's always the first thing i check - but don't get me wrong, i love my ARF
Left ARF / Right GEN
I don't see a lot of difference with the v1 except the better datewheel. Bezel is still too deep and not centered, same lugs, crown position seems the same.
That’s because only the first four pics are of the new watch on puretime. All other pics are taken from the „old“ arf watch.

occb2 So is this version still not that good as you mentioned in your review of the ARF sh3135? Or is it passable with gen DW?
Im with you on this...no matter the dial..the first thing that sets off my spider senses are the markers...
I agree! Honestly, the first thing I look for to decide if it's gen or not is whether the dial markers are rounded or square! I'm sure others less noobie than I can quickly pick out many other details to distinguish something gen, but for me, the dial markers are the fastest and easiest tell.
What do we know about this new movement, is it a better deal than old 2824?
So I got mine and out of the box issues where Date wheel not turning and getting stuck. The bezel is not seated correctly and is really springy. Also when you screw in the crown the stem winds the watch as well. So obviously there seams to be some sort of stem or stem gear issue with the SH3135 they’re using. The date wheel looks really nice and aligned. Here is a picture with a proof crystal.
Here is a QC picture.
When I received it.
I feel like the ceramic insert sucks and the filling is trash. Noobs V9 has a really nice ceramic insert. The movement is trash and needs work.
Question how can I put my Noob bezel in the ARF?
