My first Daytona mod! Going for a neo-vintage 16520 Zenith look. Noob 116500 with 116520 steel bezel. Next is to brush the lugs. Any others with similar mods?

I’ve been looking everywhere for a gen case online are you sure there’s some on Chrono24? Any advice in the right direction is appreciated

On M2M or on marketplaces such as C24 or Ebay.
Price range is around 600€ to 700€ for a full set of six. Sometimes less but it depends on the condition.

I keep reading reshaped Noob case. Does anyone have any before after pic of the Reshaping. Which area is being reshaped. Just curious.

Too me it just looks like the edged of the lugs have been softend.

Too me it just looks like the edged of the lugs have been softend.

Like you said the edges need softening but also the sides of the case on the Noob are too flat looking from the top down there it needs more of a curve from the middle of the case out to the end of the lugs. There is also more of a curve to the bottom of a gen case but to get it perfect you'd need to add material to the Noob case. The Noob SEL are way off. I used a small hammer with a rubber head to tighten any side to side play between the Gen SEL and the Noob case. This thing took me probably a solid 40 hours of shaping and polishing.
