You can search for threads on the JF 16610. It's probably the best you can get without hunting for a now-discontinued TC sub.

It has an SH3135 movement. Last time I got one (earlier this year, maybe around June), the biggest issue with the watch was that the date wheel was too bold. This could be fixed by replacing the date wheel. The date wheel retainer requires a very light modification to accept a gen datewheel, but otherwise the SH3135 is typically a solid 1:1 clone movement.

Much appreciated. Just reached out to my TD so hopefully they have it in stock. This is perfect as I picked up a SH3135 on eBay recently so I can have that serviced with a gen wheel ready to go into the watch. I noticed they had two version, one with the rolex engraving and one without. Was the Rolex engraving introduced around this time?

I don’t mind spending $450 on a decent one. I don’t know much about the ETA 2824 movement vs the SH3135 and the SA3135. I currently own a Noob V9 with a SA3135 and just purchased an ARF DateJust 41 with an ETA 2824. So that will be my first ETA.

SH movement are a 1:1 clone of the 3135 and take gen Dial and hands and a lot of the parts. The SA takes a small amount of gen parts, and from what heated and read on here the Noob V9 sa3135 is modified differently then the regular sa3135?

i see a lot of people stating to get the ETA 2824 but have it serviced right away as it will be more reliable in the long run.

All clone movements run the risk of needing a repair or replacement. SH3135 parts are said to be more costly than ETA parts,

With a $450 budget your options are limited. THat will get you a JF 16610 but imo you should save money for a service, rolex date, and a few rolex movement parts. If you want it to be reliable. You can wear it as is until then, but when it breaks down yo'll be without it at least a few weeks.

$600 or $700 can get you a used TC 16610 with a clone 2824 movement.

If you can manage $1000 you can turn a JF into a pretty good franken.
