ARF SD 43 V1 vs V2.

I recently purchased a ARF SD 43 and was told it was a V2. How do I tell the difference between the v1 and v2?

V2 has a custom rotor. On the outside the bezel teeth are a bit pointier on the v1 and some early v2's.

Rotor noise was supposedly improved in v2 from what I recall. The bezel teeth change was probably the one thing that drew most people to the v2. The v2 were improved slightly to be less sharp/pointed and scalloped better on the bezel. Personally I have the v1 and it was good enough as is to the naked eye. If you post a picture of your v2 most people here can probably tell you it's a v2.

If you got it from a TD here and it was stated to be a v2 you very likely got exactly what you ordered.

No it was a M2M sale. If it wasn’t a v2 I overpaid. That’s my only concern.

Sharp teeth there. Means if it’s a V2 it’s an early one.
They fixed the bezel teeth about 3 months after the v2 launched - not at launch.

Hm. Seems so.
But V2 was not much more expensive than V1. I think difference was about only 20$. So you could not overpay so much...
IMOP the best version was V1 2. batch with improved date print. Sharp bezel teeth is an easy fix. V2 and later batches often have got problems with over magnification and/or weird date wheel print.
And the updated rotor of V2 is nonsense. Nobody can see it.
