Looking to make a purchase on a silver dial YM and wanting feedback on best one to pick up. What should I look out for?? I'm concerned about the quality of the bezel vs. gen. Thank you in advance for your input.

None of the rep inserts are going to pass for gen. There are several modders who do insert mods for a couple hundred or less that will make the insert look much closer to gen. You should also get a Prof or gen crystal if you really want to step it up.

I've been quite happy with my Noob with no mods at all, it's all about what you need to be satisfied.

Do some research, the search function is there, avoid getting flamed lol.

To help you, get yourself a noob with 3135 to get the closest to gen, otherwise the 2836 for reliability. The stock is great, owned a rolesium 3135 myself.

To step up your game, you can start by a bezel mod (tomrep), throw in a gen DW, a rebrushing by johnny and a prof/gen xtal for blackhole. To go even further, gen dial, hands and crown, go the franken route, throw in gen 3135 parts or the whole movement too. Or you can just buy a gen and forget about reps.

Tomsrep bezel will set you back about 100 euros and imo is crucial to getting the same touch and finish as Gen
