Yes that is correct mate! It will eventually turn into a franken as more Gen parts are applied :)

I'm looking into a used Gen 16610ln dial to install with Gen spec DWO over Gen 2824 movement w/ H4 pinions.

Brand new movement and pinions ordered!

oh, and Thank you! Happy New year!

Lets Have a closer look,

YrLNf.md.jpg

I haven't seen this type of case back on the 16610 before:huh?: The teeth were much different on my TC v6.. Not sure which one is closer to gen, but it isn't a deal breaker.
PS: ST Case Set with my TC V6 bracelet.

Yr4Lp.md.jpg

I would have to say the overall machining/finish of the case set is done well including the bezel ring teeth are sharp. The ST Crown Tube is a winner in my book included with all gaskets has Gen written all over it.

YrBDh.md.jpg

The Case Lugs are arguable, They do appear wider/fatter and the lack of chamfers. Someone had said the TC SEL Fitment was wider then Gen and needed some sanding.. Looks to be ST or TC have fixed this. The TC V6 SEL's Fit quite good to the ST 3135 Case.
The wide lugs isn't a deal breaker for me along with the lacked chamfers. I will leave it as is for now and will make the adjustment latter along with the chamfers.

Y561U.md.jpg

All in All it is definitely a decent case set, Here it is ST mid case, crown tube, full bezel assembly with insert, on TC V6 bracelet.
Thanks for watching!
PS: The bezel turns crisp notching into place well along with solid crisp ratchet sound, better IMO then My old TC V6. Insert isn't much to look at, Gen is on its way.
ST Crystal and gasket did not fit.. due to the lack of crystal in picture. Retainer ring did not fit over the gasket.. Gen Crystal along with Gen gasket on its way.
Stay Tuned! any input welcome!! Wouldn't be doing this without all of you here at RWI Many thanks for all the knowledge :thanks:

Are these yuki dials any good? The crown looks strange... or would this be the crown look of a vintage 16610.

I have done this build before.

Dont nut waste your time and money with anything other than TC Jf or of course gen dials.

I wouldn’t want to put together a high end build just to use rep quality dials.

Trying it on, it's not seated will wrench it down at final steps with a dab of loctite 221-222 it is what I was recommended, unless there is a better method?

fitment to the ST Gen spec crown tube flawlessly

Crown needs a polish treatment. Looks heavily used.
