I can't say from personal experience but I have read on these forums that no other stem will substitute for a 4130. Top pic is a gen 4130 stem and crown for $291. Bottom is a used SA3135 and a watchmaker's modded replacement.

No doubt that watchmaker could make a suitable 4130 replacement. That post came from here on RWI

You might try using a stem extender to repair your broken stem

I have tested the stem gene 4130 and it does not work in the noob movement. A rod extender does not work for me because it is completely broken. then the shank of sa3135 is different from the shank of sa4130. is this correct?

That's what I would have thought by comparing the pics but you say a gen 4130 won't fit the Noob 4130 so those two must be different. Can you post a pic of the Noob 4130 stem. Maybe we can help find one, this will not be the last time someone needs one.

OK I found a pic of the Noob SA4130 stem. I'll continue to try to find one. The best option may be to get one from a TD.

They look pretty close. Gen stem is a lot of money. Hopefully your TD can get you another one.

really the gen or aftermarket steam doesn't fit the SA4130? from the pic seems really close to gen (if not the same) , but however it's really strange because it is 1:1 clone of genuine movement, like the SH...

We can ask to ours watchmakers/modder if this is true. Guys you can confirm that the steam of SA4130 isn't compoatible with genuine or aftermarket steam? This seems strange to me because the SA4130 it's almost 1:1 clone movement of genuine rolex 4130....

I don't think your problem is the stem. I think its your keyless. If you remove a 4130 stem in any other position than winding you will not be able to put the stem back in. You will need to take it apart and reset the stem and the keyless.

Rob, do you think the gen stem will fit the SA4130?

Thanks bro.

Yes I do. I can order one next time I order stuff from my rolex guy and see for 100% but I changed my main spring and my chrono gear and pinion and some keyless parts with real rolex parts and they all fit perfectly. Cant see why the stem would be different.
