how is the ceramic bezel in person? Looks amazing in the photos. Very gen like

For me the biggest problem w the ARF is the crown height and subsequent CG shape. I can spot this from 5 feet away.

Why not go NOOB? I feel the noob is way better. Just needs a few mods

Yes, noob case is really good but the SEL fit is really, really bad. What Im doing is building a franken w noob case and straps...also using some high end aftermarket endlinks....Its gonna look good....

Yea. once I finish my 114060LN im going to start a smilier build. Going GEN Dial, bezel, hands and ARF bracelet. Pretty sure it will be indistinguishable from gen at that point

On the first picture (page 1) you can see the differences between the counters. This is V1 or V2 version from ARF?

Ok. I had version V1 and the counters were worse than this, whiter as if they were paper and not metal. can anyone tell me if they have improved in V2?

No. It's an ARF model. You need the NOOB equivalent with 4130 clone movement.

That sounds great! I would be very curious to see a gen bracelet fitted to the noob case. The SEL is such a huge part of the Daytona's look...

The noob case has a slightly wider lug distance than ARF but unsure if it is bigger than gen. there are good ones on Noob but inconsistent looking at other pics of them. Mine are pretty good in the flesh.

On the ARF 116500 the quickset tell is the S on the bezel in UNITS and the proximity of the subdial numbers to the inner circle.

Everything else cosmetically is quite difficult to see other than the pushers and thickness.

The bezel on the 116520 on both noob and ARF is less of a tell because we have many revisions of that gen model, which all look slightly different.

The noob is easily distinguishable by the fantasy ROLEX font on the dial, on all models

Also Noob case seems to be asymmetrical regarding the lugs length or at least this is the optical effect when you look at the protrusion of the sels. I still don't know if is the case or are the bracelet finals...

ssouthall6 thanks for your detailed pics. I'm certain I've seen them elsewhere comparing the 116500 white dial LN between NOOB/Gen/ARF.

I've done a LOT of reading the past month and I think I would be much better positioned to make an informed choice between ARF and NOOB now (movement aside) and would love to have another look at them.
