Quick question on 16610 bracelets

I recently acquired a JF 16610LV, and love it to death. Seriously, this watch is amazing. I have been wondering, though, if it's possible to swap my bracelet for a newer style with the glide lock clasp?

Im thinking of buying a bracelet only with my next order through a TD, but wanted to see if that's even possible with the shaped end links on a 16610 case. Anyone know if this is possible?

Sorry, should have given you more info. The Ginault is a high quality, heavy bracelet, much superior to my Yuki and JF Oyster bracelets. The $275 cost reflects the quality.

Also better than my Noob V7 and TC (16610) bracelets.

Can you post a link to where you bought it?

I also remember speaking directly to someone to make sure that the bracelet would fit a 16610 and received a yes answer.

Wow, thanks for confirming that! I know Ginault well, as I was debating one of their Ocean Rovers before ultimately deciding on a Steinhart ovm 39 (which I adore btw). That might be a really good option over a Rep oyster bracelet. Appreciate you letting me know.

Hmmm, now you got me wondering if my Steinhart bracelet would fit lol....

I fitted a glidelock purchased from Raffles to a BP 16610 and while not a perfect fit as viewed from the caseback it was a successful and easy mod.

CanRep get yourself a glide lock clasp. Either Rolex, fake, ginault, or otherwise. Attach that to the JF bracelet currently in use.

Also, if you have not read this already. Check the bracelet integrity between the SEL and the first fixed link. Many of the JF bracelets are weak there, and simply fall apart. They can be pulled apart and fixed using a stronger bar.

Thanks Maron , really appreciate this heads up on the weak link bars. I had no idea about that actually, so will look at getting some stronger bars ordered to correct. Last thing I want is to have the bracelet go on me when Im out and drop on the concrete! And didnt realize I can simply add the glide lock clasp to my bracelet. I just bought a couple 2813 rolexs, so am going to steal the clasp for my Kermit for sure.
